The duo of lawyers write about Regulatory Norm 4/2022-R of the Insurance and Pension Funds Supervisory Authority, which focuses precisely on the governance system of insurance and reinsurance companies, in which TELLES lawyers highlight the topic of remuneration of members of the board.
According to lawyers specialized in the area of Insurance and Pension Funds, this “new rule expressly imposes on the management body of insurance companies the duty to ensure the existence of a remuneration policy, formalized in a separate document”. They also mention that “the regime thus instituted, not being disruptive, follows the best practices established in codes of conduct and soft law instruments, increasing the transparency and syndication of the performance of the members of the management bodies”.
