Green Briefing | Climate Basic Law

The Climate Base Law was recently published, with a direct impact on citizens, companies, the state's public sector, municipalities, including the creation of a new body, the Council for Climate Action.

In this law, in addition to a set of goals and principles, obligations are imposed whose non-compliance can generate administrative offences, the foundations are laid for the creation of the GREEN IRS as a new category of tax benefits, as well as for the payment of the carbon price.

TELLES Environment and Climate Change team prepared an informative note highlighting the main chenges.
