TELLES celebrates its 30th anniversary today.

With a history that began in 1936, it has grown a lot and always in a consistent and sustained way. It has developed and consolidated its position in the Portuguese and foreign markets, and is now a reference in the legal sector.

On this very important milestone that makes us so proud, we challenged our Chairman, Carlos Lucena, to identify the words he would like to highlight on this day and the answer was "Gratitude, Future and Proximity".

In the words of the Chairman of TELLES, Carlos Lucena:

Ask me what words come most to mind on this day marking the 30th anniversary of TELLES and practically all I can think of are: "gratitude, gratitude, gratitude".

To all those who have contributed so that this firm is today a respected national legal project, truly close to clients, collaborators and peers. To the excellent professionals who work with us and who contribute to the quality advocacy that we practise. To our clients, who have constituted and constitute our reason for existing.

And, of course, I also think of the "future", of the subsequent affirmation of this project as something special in terms of values, sustainability, quality, technology, humanism.

And I think, as I have always thought, of "proximity", a value that we have always developed in a particular way and which the future will confirm as being absolutely differentiating. Close to people and to businesses.
