On 11 November, the third edition of 'The Founder House' initiative was held as part of Web Summit, the largest event dedicated to new technologies and innovation in Portugal.
The main purpose of the initiative was to pay tribute to João Vasconcelos, the first executive director of Unicorn Factory Lisboa, by sharing stories with one of the biggest names in Portuguese entrepreneurship, who has made a strong contribution to changing the paradigm of start-ups and fintechs in the Portuguese landscape.
The third edition of The Founder House was supported by TELLES, SAP, Shilling and Unicorn Factory Lisboa.
Representing InovaTELLES, the TELLES working group dedicated to providing legal services and supporting initiatives related to entrepreneurship, were Leyre Prieto, partner and coordinator of the European and Competition practice, Ofélia Pinto de Queiroz, partner of the Corporate, Transactional and Private Equity practice, João Pedro Folhadela and Delber Pinto Gomes, associates of the Corporate, Transactional and Private Equity practice.
TELLES would like to thank Isabel Vasconcelos, who has hosted this initiative with great generosity and enthusiasm, allowing the legacy of her husband, João Vasconcelos, to continue to inspire and help entrepreneurs from all corners of the world to thrive. João Vasconcelos left an everlasting mark on the Portuguese entrepreneurial ecosystem: his spirit of innovation and entrepreneurship lives on, also thanks to Isabel's unwavering support and commitment to keep his vision and impact alive.
