Ivone Rocha, partner and coordinator of the Energy & Natural Resources and Environment & Climate Change practices at TELLES, will participate in the 9th National Conference on Environmental Impact Assessment - CNAI 2024 under the theme "Resilience and Sustainability in Environmental Impact Assessment".
The TELLES lawyer will participate as a moderator on the first day of the event, during the second plenary session on "Green Economy and Energy Transition".
The event, organised by Associação Portuguesa de Avaliação de Impactes – APAI, will explore strategies for using the EIA procedure in licensing processes, also taking into account the latest scientific advances related to the energy transition. It will also reflect on the intersection between environmental governance, technological innovation and community participation in the formulation of more effective and equitable environmental policies.
The event will take place on 8th and 9th of October at the Belém Cultural Centre in Lisbon.
