Margarida Rosado da Fonseca, partner and co-head of the European Law and Competition Practice at TELLES, and co-rapporteur of the Portuguese report on the new geopolitical dimension of the European Union's trade and competition policies, was invited to participate in the "Falar Direito" programme on Jornal Económico to talk about the application of European and competition law in the daily life of companies.

The TELLES partner explains the importance of the European and Competition Law team and its interaction with the other TELLES teams in order to provide consistent, multidisciplinary advice tailored to the specific needs of each client. She also shares her views on the current challenges and strategic opportunities for the most diverse sectors of activity, taking into account the evolution of European law.

Margarida Rosado da Fonseca takes stock of the 30th Congress of the Fédération Internationale de Droit Européen as a European think tank of excellence and of the importance of the three topics discussed for Portugal as a member state and, of course, for companies. The themes are: (I) Mutual trust, mutual recognition and the rule of law; (II) The new geopolitical dimension of EU competition and trade policy; (III) European social union. He will also share his views on the development of national competition law and its practical application, as well as on future changes to the competition regime.
