With more than 15 years of experience, Matilde Cortez Pinto has joined the Litigation and Arbitration team, led by partner André Navarro de Noronha. The new senior associate at TELLES is recognised for her expertise in civil litigation, family and succession law, alternative dispute resolution, bankruptcy and corporate recovery, real estate and insurance law. She has been involving in the pro bono work.
In addition to her law degree from the Law Faculty of the University of Lisbon, Matilde Cortez Pinto holds three post-graduate qualifications: in Filiation, Adoption and Protection of Minors from the Law Faculty of the University of Lisbon, in Family Mediation from the Portuguese Institute of Family Mediation and in Interdisciplinary Human Rights from the Law Faculty of the Portuguese Catholic University of Porto.
Natacha Branco has joined the finance and capital markets practice of TELLES, headed by partner Márcio Carreira Nobre. She is also part of the Private Equity and Venture Capital Practice Group, led by partner Ofélia Pinto de Queiroz. The associate, who joined TELLES from the CMVM - Portuguese Securities Market Commission, has developed her practice advising on financial law, in its regulatory and transactional aspects, with experience in financial litigation. Her experience includes providing legal advice to different types of funds, including credit recovery funds, venture capital funds and funds, venture capital funds and their management entities, and credit institutions.
She holds a law degree and three postgraduate degrees from the Faculty of Law, University of Lisbon, in Civil Liability Law, M&A Civil Liability Law, M&A and Corporate Litigation and Arbitration Law. and is currently completing a Master's degree in Corporate Law at the same Faculty.
