Pedro Vidigal Monteiro, managing partner of the Digital, Privacy and Cybersecurity area of practice at TELLES, in an interview with Rádio Renascença, clarifies about the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR).
According to the TELLES partner, "usually the GDPR gives a very practical guideline - it has to be as easy to give as to withdraw consent. The spirit has to be this. It's very easy to give consent because I get here, I click, I consent. Then to withdraw consent I have to send a registered letter. In a request for access, I think the principle here will have to be the same - just as I'm collecting data, there should be a channel that allows it to do the same."
