TELLES advised Explorer IV, a private equity fund managed by Explorer Investments – Sociedade de Capital de Risco, S.A., on the acquisition of a 60% stake in the share capital of Gosimac – Maquinações, S.A., a company that produces high-precision components for satellites, automotive parts, electronic components and the energy sector, generating over 80% of its sales in the international market.
Explorer IV assumes the role of majority shareholder of Gosimac – Maquinações, S.A. The current shareholders of Gosimac – Maquinações, S.A. will retain a 40% stake in the company and will continue to be involved in its management.
The multidisciplinary team involved in this transaction was led by Mariana Ferreira Martins and coordinated by José Maria Braga da Cruz, partner and senior associate in TELLES' Corporate, M&A and Private Equity area.
