TELLES advised Explorer IV - Venture Capital Fund, managed by Explorer Investments - Sociedade de Capital de Risco, S.A., which manages and represents funds with more than 1.4 billion euros of assets, in the acquisition of a 60% stake in DevScope, one of the national leaders in information systems and a Microsoft partner, mainly in the areas of Business Intelligence, Sharepoint and Artificial Intelligence.

The multidisciplinary TELLES team involved in this transaction was led by Mariana Ferreira Martins, partner in the Corporate, Transactions and Private Equity practice, coordinated by José Maria Braga da Cruz, senior associate, with the participation of Nuno Marques and Catarina Isidro, of counsel and associate, respectively. The team also included Leyre Prieto, partner and co-head of the European and Competition practice, and José Pedroso de Melo, Of Counsel in the Tax practice.

With this transaction, Explorer points out that it will "simultaneously benefit from the growth of the company, as a result of its competitive advantages and its positioning in a market with great growth potential". It should be noted that around 50% of DevScope's turnover is generated in international markets, as it has also been selected to participate in one of the largest LA consortia led by Definedai, and has recently launched with Microsoft the Cybereomm application, an integrated solution aimed at training and alerting employees of public and private organisations to the risks and good practices of cybersecurity.
