Vasco Simões and Mariana Leite da Silva are the latest arrivals in TELLES' tax department, coordinated by Miguel Torres, partner and chairman of TELLES.

Vasco Simões has 9 years of tax experience and has been involved in the international expansion of multinational companies into new markets, tax consulting and planning, transaction structuring, mergers and acquisitions, corporate reorganisations, financial operations and real estate taxation. He previously worked in other law firms and in a Big Four consultancy.
He holds a law degree from the Faculty of Law of the University of Lisbon and a Masters in Law and Management from the Católica Global School of Law and the Católica-Lisbon School of Business and Economics.

Mariana Leite da Silva has been advising on a regular basis both national and international clients from different sectors, having previously worked in a boutique tax law firm.
She is also currently a member of the technical team monitoring the IPCG Corporate Governance Code.
In addition to a law degree from the Faculty of Law of the University of Coimbra, she holds a Master's degree in Legal and Economic Sciences from the same faculty. She holds a postgraduate degree in Company Law from the Institute of Company and Labour Law and has completed the postgraduate course in Banking, Stock Exchange and Insurance Law at the Institute of Banking, Stock Exchange and Insurance Law.
Mariana Leite da Silva has worked as a tutor and teaching assistant at the Law and Economics Department of the Faculty of Law of the University of Coimbra, and has also worked on research projects at the Faculty's Legal Institute.
